For a long time, my day-to-day life looked pretty different than it does now. I spent years working in the emergency services—a job I loved, but one that was constantly fast-paced and high-stakes. In 2020, I decided it was time for a change of pace, hung up the uniform, and finally gave my lifelong passion for photography the front seat.

Going from sirens and split-second decisions to waiting hours for the perfect sunrise has been quite the transition, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

What I Shoot

I’m happiest when I’m outside with a camera in my hand. While I love exploring all kinds of photography, these three are my true obsessions:

• Landscapes: There is nothing quite like watching the world wake up. I love chasing that perfect morning light across mountains, beaches, and everywhere in between.

• Wildlife: This is where my patience is really put to the test! There's a unique thrill in quietly waiting for an animal to show its true personality in its natural habitat.

• Travel: I love packing a bag, exploring new corners of the map, and capturing the real, authentic vibe of the places and cultures I visit.

Learning from the Pros

While I brought plenty of discipline over from my previous career, I knew I wanted to take my images to the next level. To do that, I’ve spent the last few years training directly with some incredible professional photographers. Working alongside them gave me the technical know-how and the hands-on experience to turn a hobby into a polished craft.

When I'm not out scouting locations or editing photos, you can usually find me planning my next road trip or doing sponsored events for our local Hospice.
